INFORMATION FOR NETS-2012 PRESENTERS
Oral Presentations —
Oral presentations are scheduled for 20 minutes per talk: 15 minutes for speaking, and 5 minutes for discussion and speaker transition. To see the method of presentation and time that has been assigned to your abstract, refer to the NETS author index.
Audio-visual equipment provided will include laptop PCs and Macs and an LCD projector.
Presenters are strongly encouraged to upload their presentations to the provided equipment in advance of their presentation. Uploading your presentation to the common equipment will ensure that speaker transitions are smooth and quick, allowing maximal use of the assigned presentation time. All uploaded presentations will be deleted following the meeting. Please contact NETSconf@gmail.com if you have any concerns regarding these arrangements. Although there will be a option for the speaker to use his or her own laptop, this is strongly discouraged. Please see the detailed instructions at the link below for more information.
Presentation validation will be in the Sterling Ridge Room at The Marriott Woodlands Waterway Hotel. Checking in oral presentations is the most important step presenters can take to ensure their presentations are successful. For presenters planning to attend the full LPSC meeting in addition to NETS, the Sterling Ridge Room will be available for this purpose beginning Sunday evening, 3/18. Those presenting on Thursday morning should check in their presentations by 5 pm on Wednesday evening.
